State Capitalism should really be called State Communism or State Socialism instead. It might also be called Fascism (group rights trump individual rights).
State Capitalism (state ownership of property) has much more in common with Communism (public ownership of property) than Capitalism (private ownership of property).

The Bubble(s?) of 2013 took less time to inflate than the Bubble of 2017, and therefore likely also deflated more quickly.
Projecting forward to 700 days post 2017-12-17 puts us at 2019-11-16. I would not be surprised if this crypto winter lasted longer than the last one simply because...
If you use the end date of Oct 29, 2015 as the end date, this puts the bear market of 2013-2015 closer to 700 days. We're currently at 413 days past 2017-12-17 at 2019-02-02.
I get why people look at a charts and claim the bear market of 2013 to 2015 ended at the bottom of ~$190 in Jan 2015, but that doesn't really capture the emotion/sentiment of the time
The bear market 2013-2015 ended when the price finally broke out above the ~$310 barrier. It had bounced around between $191 and $306 for about 10 months leading up to Oct 2015.
I'm calling B.S. on the previous stat of 410 days. The 2013 to 2015 bear market lasted much longer than that. By my estimation, the bear market didn't end until around October 29, 2015

Maybe a stable coin would encourage more people to transact directly.

Memo is immutable, uncensorable, no ads. limitations: (small) pay to post, must have BCH first, ~200 character count (might be longer form in the future), can’t store photos or videos

I just checked... of the top 25 posts currently, only 2 are about price. It's a small sample, but it doesn't support your statement.
