Most node software has single threaded message processing...When a block processes then the queue is jammed until the block finishes. Only BU nodes are unaffected by this.
Great point! I've updated memo to use separate processes for memos vs normal transactions. It seems to be helping.

Started a topic. Compose message text box takes line breaks (shift-enter). Tried to post the second message in the topic, but line breaks seems not acknowledged. What gives, any ideas?
Topics use a single line because it was meant to be more like chat. Multi-line support is intended to be added though. Thanks for bringing this up, hopefully we can get to it soon.

That is a good explanation. Capitalism is terrible - but compared to what? To something even worse. What is the evidence for that? The current state of affairs.
Not yet. This was just initial testing. Once there is a protocol made specifically for books, then a bunch can be added :)
